Contrary to this picture, I love playing with Aunt Desi a.k.a. "Dedi"
(did I mention hats?)

Monkey

Tools, tools and more tools (hhhmmm, did I say hats yet?)

balls
(oh, and hats, helmets...same thing)

slippers and baskets, also known as hats

The Wheels on the Bus

Logan will sing this same word, every verse, over and over, and always in the right place. We only got one verse on video, though. Please excuse our bad singing...

Back from the Holidays

We've been back from Denver for a good week and a half now, but I feel like my brain is finally catching up with me. Adjusting from holiday mode back to reality is always a little spastic.

Here's a glimpse into our favorite parts about Christmas in Denver:

Getting a special visit from Santa Clause

The tradition of eating chinese on Christmas Eve (the cooks)

Looking at Christmas lights Christmas Eve

Christmas jammies (yes, Logan is a hitter)

Christmas jammies for all the big kids, too

Christmas morning...the look on Logan's face says it all. The kids were overstimulated, hungry, tired and grumpy, so Logan took a nap while we opened most of his presents.

Learning to eat with a spoon...

...and giving up.

Good try, Logan

Throwing pots for the first time, Ben loved it.

Playing in what was left of the snow

true love

The only thing that describes motherly love more than cleaning baby barf off of crib bedding, clothing, the floor, and every body part on the child (including his hair)...
is letting your child sit in your lap, while they throw up into their blanket (which you are holding, by the way), trying to catch it all and contain it, because toddlers don't know how to aim yet, let alone give any warning.

This was my afternoon, but somehow I really didn't mind it at all. Amazing how that works.

He's actually saying cheese (sounds more like "chee") and smiling here. Hopefully this is the end of blurred pictures on the go.
